DC/DB Retirement Study 2001.
The study was demanded by the Colorado Legislature and directed
by the Colorado State Auditor. The purpose was to examine if
a DC plan would provide better recruitment and retention than
the current Colorado PERA plan does. The State Auditor contracted
with Buck Consultants. The study concluded that Colorado PERA
is better for almost any participant than any DC plan.
